Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style to employee performance, the effect of job stress to employee performance, job satisfaction as mediator on tranformational leadership style, and the effect of job stress to employee performance. The population in this study is all of employees with the rank of executive (nonofficial) at the State Treasury Service (KPPN) Makassar 1 and 2 amounted 61 people.The sampling technique using census method, the number of samples that can be used in this study is 57 people. Analysis model used in this study is descriptive analysis, and path analysis using SmartPLS software version 2.0. The results showed that there are a positive and significant effect of transformational leadership style to employee performance, negative and significant effectof job stress to employee performance, job satisfaction mediated the effect of job stress to employee performance, and job satisfaction did not mediate the effect of transformational leadership style to employee performance.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of personal factors, family factors and organizational support on the successes of the relocation. The survey was given to 90 employees of the Directorate General of Treasury who has a family and has been relocated outside Java for more than a year. 76 respondents provide feedback through google forms and analyzed using the SmartPLS 2.0.M3 version. Personal factors and organizational support is proven to affect the successes of the relocation positively, whereas family factors did not affect the successes of the relocation. Moreover, the interaction between personal factors and organizational support can also affected the successes of the relocation, but negatively.

Abstract

Brand is an important factor that can attract the purchasing interest of Generation Y. This study aimed to examine the effect of brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand image to brand loyalty of Generation Y (15 to 33 years old). Increased purchasing power of generation Y are anticipated to make them become important targets for the brand. The samples of this study were 160 respondents of Generation Y and analyzed with path analysis. The result indicated that brand awareness and perceived quality were positive significantly affected to brand image and brand loyalty. Brand image positive significantlyaffected to brand loyalty. Brand image was able tomediated properly theeffect between brand awareness and perceived quality on brand loyalty.

Abstract

Stock is one of the most popular monetery market instrument and the alternative interesting investation in capital market because it may given the high return to the investor. The price of stock is fluctuative because the comuditythat is sensitive changeable based on the internal and external factors of a company. There are existence of fluctuations of stock that make the investor focus on expected return levelon the investments made as compensation for the risks to be faced.APT (Arbitrage Pricing Theory) model improved by Stephen A Rose is one of the developerin CAPM (Capital Asset Pricing Theory) to determining the expected return in the market. Some experts claim that APT model is better than CAPM because the price of stock is not only determined by single market index but also by many macroeconomics factors. Based on the explanation above, the researcher will research the return and risk premium in stock exchange of Indonesia using APT model. It will be found the macroeconomic factors that may affectstock return and premium risk in APT Model, such as the level of inflation, Rupiah rate exchange to US dollars, and the price of world oil.

Abstract

Regional retribution, as well as regional taxes is one of the regional revenue is expected to be one source of financing governance and regional development, to improve and equalize the welfare of the society. So,this study was conducted to determine the effectiveness and contribution of charges for services to regional revenue Bandung District in 2010-2013. The results showed that many types of the retribution of charges for services that are less effective and did not contribute to PAD Bandung District. Including retribution of flats, rental of regional government’sland use, recreation areas, sport areas, and the sale of the production business. While the types of the retribution of charges for services which contribute only rental of heavy equipment from the department of Bina Marga and station services.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the CSR implementation model, analyze and evaluate CSR implementation stages of the partnership program then formulate CSR implementation model partnership program of SOEs in South Kalimantan. The population of this studyis all the partners in the partnership program of SOEs in South Kalimantan. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method. Purposive sampling method applied because in this study required intensive interaction with subjects of this study, so the subjects of this study are selected based on the specific consideration (judgment). The specific consideration that became the criteria, so that SMEs in the samples of this study were the willingness of subjects (the partners) to become involved in this study and has been trained partners SOE for at least 2 years.Based on these criteria then obtained a total sample amounted 100 pieces SMEs trained partners. The data processed by individuals interview intensively, Focus Group Discussion and literature. The data analyzedby descriptive analysis method. The Implementation model of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a program partnership of SOEs in South  Kalimantan province to SMEs as its established partners consists of the stages of planning, preparation stage, the stage of implementation, monitoring and evaluation stages.

Abstract

The universities are currently facing many challenges as an institution of higher education providers, especially private universities to compete for students, maintaining the values of academic that produce graduates who can compete in creating jobs, and enter the workforce. This study aimed to analyze the effectof market orientation and image to the student satisfaction, and the implication to the student loyalty.Data collection was taken from students in Jambi as many as 200 samples with analytical methods WarpPLS Structural Equation Model 3.0. The result showed that all of hypothesis has positive and significant impact, which Market Orientation greatest effect.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of quality of service and hospital’s cost on patient satisfaction and loyalty. This study uses secondary data from hospital’s document and primary data which collected through questionnaire’s survey from the patients of Bogor Public Hospital, Indonesia. The method of analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. According to the method of Partial Least Square (PLS), service qualityand hospital’s cost have significant impact on patient satisfaction. Service quality has significantly  impact to the patient loyalty, but the hospital’s cost has no significant impact on patient loyalty. In addition, patient satisfaction significantly affect to the patient loyalty. According to this result, the hospital needs to improve the service quality and set the right cost in order to improve patient satisfaction and at the end, gain patient loyalty.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the capital position and company’s performance in Indonesia during the 2008-2012 period and to determine the factors that affected the company’s financial flexibility in Indonesian firms. The samples of this study were 45 largest capitalized company listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.This study used synthetic rating and the debt service coverage ratio to determine the company’s capital position and performance, and used panel data to determine the factors that affected financial flexibility. The results showed that existence a decrease in the default rate, in 2008 the average default rate was 6.12%, in 2009 decreased to 3.99%, in 2010 down to 2.91%, and then in 2011 and 2012 slightly increased to 3.17% and 3.30 %. Based on the results of panel data the factors that affected the financial flexibility is Leverage Ratio, Free Cash Flow, and crisis.

Abstract

Iron sand is the one of mineral mining products that produced by Cianjur District. Products are marketed from mining is generally still a raw material,it is an impact on the company’s profits that not optimal and lower government revenues.Mining activities have also resulted in damage to the roads by trucks that transporting iron ore.Based on the analysis by matrix, the internal-external (IE) factor on the SWOT analysis is known that iron sand mining activities in Cianjur is in cell 5. It means that iron sand mining activities in Cianjur required strategic of growth or stability. With AHP analysis, the researcher obtained alternative strategies iron sand mining in Cianjur. Construction of the smelter enterprises become the main alternative to increase government revenue, mining bussiness profit and welfare of miners. Transportation of goods by sea became the main alternative to preserve the environment and infrastructure.
